How do I know?

I've been in the hair industry for almost 20 years with a focus on a more holistic approach for the last decade. When I was almost 10 years in the hair industry, I got really sick.

My health ended up collapsing to the point I had to get two surgeries and ended up on lung steroids. I knew that I couldn’t continue in my career the same way, so, as a last resort, I decided to start my own business - using products that supported my health rather than made me sick.

My body began to heal and my business grew rapidly. Because I had a holistic approach to haircare, I was in demand, from clients behind the chair to PR companies to photoshoots for haircare brands and content creation.

It allowed me to save 30k in my first year of business, open a dedicated location, start selling products online and more.

It also breathed new life into my career. I wasn't just working the same way over and over, I had a purpose. I was able to become a safe space for the people in my community. I was taking care of the planet WHILE doing the craft I love.

  • What support will I get throughout the course?

    Diana is always available via email ([email protected]) for additional support and questions.

  • Will you tell me what products to use?

    This course was specifically created to be unbiased and research based, therefore, you won't be sold on any products. Diana will give examples and does speak freely about the lines that she uses however, this course teaches you to make that decision for yourself, your salon and your clients.

  • Will this teach me how to cut or color hair?

    No, this course is not a technical skills course, though Diana will be teaching more one off classes in the future on this. This class is intended to merge clean beauty information and business into one!

  • How long is the course?

    This course is self paced, and meant to be completed in a few hours with further homework to be done as you wish.

  • How is the course structured?

    The course is broken down into 4 modules with a few chapters in each module. They contain videos, text lessons and a PDF resource as well. You will also have a workbook in Notion to follow along and make notes. All research is cited in case you want to really deep dive!

  • Why do you charge in USD?

    We charge in USD as most of our students are located in the US. If you're Canadian, rest assured, the cost of the course was priced in Canadian dollars and then converted to USD for ease.
